BSS: a brokering model for service selection using integrated weighting approach in cloud environment

Abstract Cloud providers shares their resources and services through collaboration in order to increase resource utilization, profit quality of services. The offered with different access patterns, similar characteristics, varied performance levels cost models create a heterogeneous service environment. It becomes challenging task for users decide suitable as per application requirements. broker, an inter-mediator is required management help both cloud users. broker has store all the information related feedback on those provide best end-users. Brokering model selection (BSS) been proposed which employs integrated weighting approach selection. Subjective objective weights QoS attributes are combined compute total weight. weight obtained from users’ while computed benchmark tested data Users’ preferences given parameters employed subjective computation. Objective using Shannon’s Entropy method. Total by combining weights. BSS method rank Simulation case study real dataset done validate effectiveness BSS. results demonstrate consistency handling reversal problem provides better execution time than other state-of-the art solutions.
